Awesome zingers!!! The bartender, Maura is extremely kind and makes a great drink! Will definitely come back weekly!!

Very disappointed. We started off great with some delicious pot stickers and chicken nachos, then. It was all down hill from there. Grease central. My fish and chips were literally swimming in oil. And the fish was practically non-existent in a giant surround of batter. I guess if you want very greasy batter, then it would be ok. The Caesars salad was also swimming in dressing. Wow. They also "dropped" my friend's meal. It took at least 30 min before they finally got it out. He said it was good. I was told "it's a fried food, it should be greasy." Yeah. But the manager came over, apologized, and offered new food, so while the meal was less than ideal, at least the manager tried. Plus, my other friends thought the food was pretty good. I just picked the loser meal. Don't get the fish and chips.

Never saw such a massive array of beers. There is even a separate local brewed beers The burgers and fraitas were cooked to order and had great taste. There are more huge TVs on every wall than you can look at. Food prices for the excellent tasting food are more than reasonable.

I recently posted a review of Miller's expressing that they had lost my business. I had the opportunity to speak with Terry, who did his best to assuage any reservations I had about returning to Miller's after my poor experience. He promised to take care of things, and he did. The manager on duty the night that I had an issue came over to offer his sincere apologies for my poor experience. Unfortunately sometimes in life people have a bad day, or night. I think that in food service it's the same way. Miller's has won my business back with great management, great food, and making me feel like a valued customer. I can't say enough about how much the personal touch that Miller's provided meant to me. I went from feeling like my business meant nothing to realizing that Miller's values my business, and that of all of their customers. I'm thankful to report that one of my favorite restaurants has won me back.

My favorite place to go to for a great meal and drinks with friends or family. Love the spinach dip appetizer and the $10 pitchers from the bar. Staff is always friendly and constantly checking in on me or the people I am with to make everything is okay. Never disappointed when I come here, always great service.
(5)Harry D.
Biggest wings I've had in a restaurant, best ribey stake for 12.99 anywhere. Noisily as a Nascar race! Friendly as they can be, over the top service. I'm coming back again.
(5)Brian L.
update to prior post- Management went out of their way to assure me that my concerns would be addressed. I was very impressed with their marketing departments response to my post- I went there with a 20$ gift card just yesterday, tried their garlic parmesan wings- wow- fantastic- The service was great again- All is good back in the Millers Universe!
(4)Daniel H.
We enjoy the beer and food here. Kids are free on Tuesdays. Large beer selection and great prices. Good place for the family and a great place to catch a game...TVs everywhere.
(4)Cas M.
Miller's is awesome!!! Decent and reasonably priced food, two bars, restaurant seating, outdoor seating, and tons of TV's. One of the only bars in the immediate area that plays the UFC fights and great drink specials. I am very happy with my experiences here! I'm a big fan of their chicken cheesesteaks. Get one with a $10 margarita pitcher and I'm set for the night. Although the drinks can be a little too sugary, they're yummy if you don't drink too much! The atmosphere here is pretty cool. This is a fun place to watch the game or just for a night out. The outdoor seating is especially exceptional, complete with two fire pits and about six tables. Don't worry, there's a TV out there, too! The patio is the best place to dine on a nice summer night. The staff is always very friendly, which is more than I can say for some other bars in the area. I am a big fan of Miller's!
(4)Rob M.
Cool place. Good service, great food. Looks pretty clean. Big and open. Third time here. First time was three days ago. Lots of tv's so you won't miss any games. Bar and service areas were stocked and well organized. Staff was friendly. I think my bartender left so the others were quick to refill my beer and clear my plate. I got the blackened chicken Caesar salad. Very good. The other meals were the blackened quesadillas and the Philly cheesesteak. All were very good, generous portions and well priced. Lots a variety too. Not a huge beer drinker but I see 48 taps that could satisfy any hoppy taste buds. I will tell you that I've worked in the food industry for 28 years. from restaurants to health care so I know a good place when I see it.
(5)Jay Q.
Above average bar food with a huge menu. Great specials nightly and hearty portions. Lots of tvs and quite a big beer selection. This place is enormous, so there is never really a wait. I good place to go with a group or a random night out during the week. You will walk out full guaranteed.
(3)Paul R.
I stopped by as it was close (like aside) of my hotel and I was beat from a long day. I liked the set up of large dining areas with TV views and a wrap around bar with easy viewing of at least 3 TVs, all sports of course! Service was friendly and efficient. Miller's has daily specials so take a moment to review their food and drink specials. Did I mention they have a great selection of draft and bottled beers. I had their chicken strips and as advertised they were fresh and large. The blue cheese dressing was not chunky but let's not be too picky here. The patron next to me ordered the fish and chips and this portion was large enough for two. He said they were battered just right, not too thick or greasy. Nice place to camp out for drinks, dinner, a game...whatever!
(4)Debra C.
AWESOME......Best place to eat, the staff are sooo friendly and sweet. Never had a bad meal or experience there and shout out to Will the Manager for always having a kind word to share....You'll never be disappointed, my favorite place to hang out ....
(5)Brad P.
Millers is a pretty good overall place with a large variety of food, plenty of space for big groups, and wallpaper made out of TV's. Its great for sports fans, families, and business events. They've got a very decent tap selection with some great micro brews and seasonals. The food is standard pub fare but you won't be disappointed. Want to know where to sit? Generally the older crowd (30+) hangs out at the main bar and the twenty somethings (mostly 21-25) hang out on the patio bar. The patio is actually pretty nice with couches and a fireplace, but you probably won't enjoy it if you're old enough to remember the "Taste great vs Less filling!" commercials. I remember during the big ice storm and power outage last year, this place was the only thing open in town. I drove around for miles looking for food and these guys were not only open, but at full throttle. They even let me charge my phone at the bar which was a big help. This a great place to watch UFC and Eagles games. No cover charge. The bartenders have always been cool here and have never steered me wrong with beer suggestions.
(4)Brian C.
It's basically a sports bar on steroids. The place is huge on the inside and what I thought was mirrors reflecting back the main room was actually a whole other room! So if you pull up and the parking lot is jammed, I wouldn't worry because there is plenty of seating. Much larger than the one located in Langhorne, PA. The food was decent enough...my friend and I had shared a variety of apps that included wings, nachos and loaded fries. They did the trick but nothing I'd say you HAD to try. Beer selection as good enough. My only issue was the service. We saw our server hardly ever so getting a refill or the check was very difficult. She also never smiled, not even when she greeted us. My recommendation would be to come here for a happy hour, with a group to pregame or if you have a party of like 20 people, than they can easily accommodate.
(3)Fawn M.
I have been here a couple of times, nice place to go if you want a casual attmosphere to watch some sport (TV screens all over) and chat with friends. The food is good but they have a dessert that is awesome called 'Capt Jack's Buried Treasure'. It is such a treat and although large enough for 2 people to share I never share.
(5)Scott C.
Nothing special on a Monday night but a decent meal to be fair. Monday nights they have a special on a full rack of baby back ribs. $10.99 for a full rack with one side dish. Definitely not the place I would go to for traditional BBQ but for the price you really can't beat it. Taste wise I would say average at best. Fresh green beans for a side were solid and yet another Monday night special of $8.95 for a bucket of Bud Light kind of brought it all together. Staff was a little slow at the jump but overall they were attentive and courteous. Good place to go for a couple cold ones and a quick dinner/appetizer at a very reasonable price. TVs cover every inch of every wall with all the relative sports along with an outdoor dining/seating area and 2 outdoor fire pits.
(2)Anne D.
My husband and I go there on Wednesday afternoons for lunch and love it! We are so happy we found this gem! The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, the prices quite reasonable. Love the sports decor and the outer room with the huge windows for warm weather and the fireplace for cooler days...
(5)Larissa L.
I really don't get the hype with this place. My husband and I split the combo appetizer. The potato skins were too thick and sparse on topping. The mozzarella sticks left a stale grease taste on the tongue. The spinach and artichoke dip was watery. The onion rings were okay. I had a glass of the Riesling, which was terrible. It was either old or an awful brand. The fountain drinks come in enormous cups, which is nice. For dinner, I had the chicken parm with pasta. The pasta sauce tasted like it came from a can and was completely lackluster. It was watery in consistency and lacked any real flavor besides metal. The chicken was okay, at best. They went very sparingly on the cheese. The most delicious part of the whole meal was dessert. It was a Ghiradelli brownie with ice cream. I guess because it was not made on premises, it actually tasted good and was large enough for three people to split with some to spare. I really don't recommend Miller's.
(2)Brian H.
My first time at a Miller's north of Sarasota, FL, and this place was A-OK. The chili was thick and rich, but room temperature, it could have used a little heat. Unlike the Sarasota Miller's, the ribs were moist and fall-off-the-bone tender. The sweet potato fries with that creamy delightful dollop of dipping indulgence, and a nicely dressed coleslaw were the sides. A great selection of beers on tap and collection of attentive bartenders were there when I needed them. Opening night NFL was on the many TV's, which usually marks the beginning of life for the football degenerates of all ages, and they filled the house.
(3)Jamie M.
I met some coworkers here for some drinks over the weekend. It was pretty crowded (not overly so) since there was a match on, so it did take a bit to get served. There's definitely more of a college-late 20s crowd (at least in the bar section) and lots of tvs on every wall. Drink prices were great though; my cranberry vodka cost a mere $2.95! They even have a tv on their outside porch so that you can enjoy the game even if you are outside for some fresh air. If you're looking for a laid back hangout with cheap drinks, this could be a good place.
(3)Alex P.
Typical townie bar. Thankfully it's huge so you don't feel too packed in. Cheap food, made cheaply. The best part is that the drinks are cheap! And there are a ton of TVs, so it's the perfect place to go watch a game but nothing more than that.
(3)Colin H.
Okay beer list and helpful staff, good food.
(4)Bill L.
I always take my clients to Millers after settlement on their new home. Booths are extra large for comfortable seating. Soft drinks come in a glass sooo big so you don't have to bug the servers. Price of the food is reasonable and ample sized. Plus all those TV's make the conversation flow easily.
(4)James B.
Surprisingly, their wings have no taste to them. You would think that a place that make its wings a high profile item with a variety of sauces would make sure that they are something that would draw people in. I ordered two different types of wings (Garlic and Thai Chili) and, unless I knew in advance what sauces they were, I couldn't be able to tell you which ones they were. I would've thought a place like that would put more effort into that particular product. *** ADDENDUM (December 12, 2014) I would like to give credit where credit is due. The customer service component of this company has operated the way ALL businesses SHOULD operate. I have been contacted multiple times by different members of this restaurant's customer service and "chain of command" and I want to be sure to acknowledge that they have been genuinely interested my evaluation and concerns. The general manager of this specific location spoke with me by telephone yesterday and while I explained it was not the singular fault of any employee or manager, he replied that it was still an issue he wanted to personally address. These folks should be proud of themselves in the effort they put forth beyond arrival/departure aspect of their customers. So, my concluding remark is, give this place a try. Maybe it's just me? I can honestly assure people that Miller's Ale House will be receptive to your comments - positive and negative - and in that spirit I will likely give this restaurant another visit.
(1)Bruce K.
I've been to a few Ale Houses in my day and this one is pretty good. Located right near the Willow Grove turnpike exit (NOT where the pin sent me!) and the Home Depot. Big parking lot. Inside was a bit noisy but the place is clean and welcoming with a large number of tables and booths. I took a stool at the bar, where I asked the bartender for a recommendation on beer. He knew his stuff and I was impressed. I had a great Belgian import with a good kick to it. For a late snack, I chose the potstickers which seemed to be the least fried/greasy option on the nibbles menu. Yes, they also have huge salads and sandwiches and burgers and wings. Six stuffed dumplings on a bed of lettuce with a lot of sauce drizzled over it. They were okay - I wouldn't have 'em again. A decent place to have an after work beer or a full meal. Open until late hours!
(4)Veronica K.
I generally like the Miller's franchise, but this specific location always gives me a headache. First off, this is a pretty crowded area, but I don't think a single other establishment within a 20 mile radius is ever as packed as this place is on a weekend night. I've waited two hours to get a seat here, and then spent up to an hour and a half just to get served, so be prepared for that. I think the flaws of this one lie in it's size. Sure, the Langhorne one has expanded but it's not the giant temple to booze like this one is. You get lost in the shuffle, waiters are overworked, it's generally unpleasant. Also, for being an 'ale house' their list of beers sucks (this goes for all locations though). They have one or two good crafts on tap and the rest are blah macros. Do get the mixed drinks though, since those are always a pleaser. Also go for the desserts, as those are the shining stars of the menu (Captain Jack's Nutty Brother is crazy awesome). Miller's is okay, but avoid this location.
(2)Bob B.
Millers is solid for what it is, a big sports bar chain. Some locations, like Destin, FL benefit from weather that enables them to exploit an indoor/outdoor concept, which can be really nice. The usual food choices. Easy access to turnpike and hotels.
(3)Amy J.
So, this was my second time at Miller's. They do have a few things going for them... The place has great atmosphere, and is a good place to hang out with friends and to have a few drinks. The drinks are cheap, and they have a vast assortment of beers on tap. It is a large chain type bar with lots of TVs playing various sports. One of my friends raves about their Bahama Mama drink. That said, the food and the service leave something to be desired. The food is cheap which is good, because no one would want to pay much for the things they serve. Most recently I had the British Burger. I thought it would be delicious as who can screw up a bacon cheeseburger? Well, Miller's did. The burger was luke warm, and the loaded cheese fries that came as a side were cold. The burger was bland. There wasn't any "special sauce" or any sort of topping to jazz up the patty or the cheese or bacon. Our server was nice, but didn't come back to check on us often, and neglected to bring out water. There are several better places (although more expensive) nearby to get a quick bite to eat with better service and significantly better food.
(2)Shannon H.
What a fantastic end to my birthday at Miller's. The drinks were great and the staff was so fun. Regis was the best bartender. Thanks so much!
(5)Jamie M.
I'm giving this place three stars to be generous. It looks nice from the outside but is a cleaned up frat house inside. I asked what their specialty was and it was a zinger thing- which is just a chicken finger marinated in buffalo sauce. TVs everywhere. I had a salmon sandwich which was very dry and the sweet potato fries are a sad joke. I was curious as to why the beer was so cheap but I got my answer- it's served with extra foam on top in a room temperature glass. (Not chilled). Also, our waitress' top was cut very low, which made me very uncomfortable. It was a little desperate. Moral of the story- if you're a boy between the ages of 16 and 30, you'll enjoy this place. Not my scene, I won't be back.
(2)Shawn B.
nice barmaid tammy, which is the only reason i'm giving it 2 stars .. the food is horrible drafts prices are high ..... skip this place!
(2)Tom H.
Did a review of the brick tavern which is almost next door and this is the opposite. The Alehouse looks nice on the outside but when you get inside it kind of feels like a hooters without the girls. Bright lights make it feel strange. Seems like a family place because lots of them when I went. Pub food but not as good as the brick. If you are here on business would pick the brick over Alehouse.
(3)Jon P.
Still in my opinion the best chain sports bar I have ever been too. We are frequent visitors to Orlando and always go to Orlando Ale House and were pleasantly surprised to find Millers in Philly. We have never had a bad experience at any of their restaurants and the one in Willow Grove is no exception. Everything we have tried is excellent. I like the zinger tacos (they are no longer on menu but they will still make them for you). Definitely the go to place to watch sports. Plenty of Tvs and not a bad seat in the house.
(5)E A.
Stick with the appetizers if you have to eat. The real food is just not worth it. I went here the other night and was totally ignored by the 6 bartenders. They looked me in the eye and kept on moving. Why subject yourself to this treatment? My co-workers come here , that's the only reason I came. No More. Spend the 30 seconds and walk next door.
(1)John M.
Saturday night,6:00 pm - I should know better. However, despite the full house, the wait (no reservations here) was a reasonable 15 minutes. Very good, moderately priced drinks. French Dip, onion soup, fish tacos, caesar salad all very good. A lot of food. Very nice waitress. No room for the tempting desserts. Next time.
(4)Kevin S.
The SETTING: Three (3) visits over the last month with coworkers for dinner/drinks The Vibe - 2.5 Stars - A mix between chain restaurant and Cheers Bar, it has a musty/dank feel. The crowd is a mix of locals and travelers from the hotel next door (where we are staying). There is a decent firepit outside with enough room for both smokers and non-smokers, but there large TV has no audio. This is not an ideal place to meet other people, but it suffices internally for our work team due to its hotel proximity. The SERVICE - 1.5 Stars - Other than the one friendly bartender near the outside patio (and he's still fairly slow to deliver drinks), the service is just snail pace... The FOOD - 2.5 Stars - The food is standard bar food, with nothing standing out. But since the food is not even near expensive expectations shouldn't be stratospheric... The Bottom Line - A slightly substandard Bar/Grill with very affordable drinks. Better off eating somewhere else (Brick House nearby and better food but drinks are kind of a rip off) and then coming to Millers for cheap beers/liquor drinks. If this review was for booze only, it would be 3.5 stars.
(2)Jessica K.
Love coming here to watch sports or just hang out with friends and have some drinks. We do not come for the food. We usually eat dinner up the road at Iron Abbey before we come out to Miller's, but always have a great time here. I find the bar service to be accommodating, they get very busy, so don't always expect to be served the second you walk up. LOVE the outdoor patio, fire pits and large screen tv, great spot to watch your game! We always have a fun time at Miller's!
(4)John D.
Awesome spot to catch any sports event. Love the back bar section. Great drink specials all day, every day. When I'm not there enjoying a work happy hour eating their tasty appetizers, I'm there with friends enjoying the atmosphere. Keep up the good work!
(5)benjamin W.
I went last night for an event and I've been several times in the recent past. The staff is almost always friendly, and NOT morons (which sadly is quite common I restaurants these days). The drinks are copious and moderately priced. The food is pretty great. Which is to say I've never been unhappy with my food. (Also not the norm these days). The atmosphere is nice, it's like a Fridays that grew up. Tons of tvs (not my bag but a nice feature) and plenty of fishing stuff which makes one crave some of there quality seafood. The zingers are better if you blend sauces (ask a server for a recommendation and enjoy). The place is great for your whole family too. I'll see you there.
(5)Larry N.
A great place to go and hang out with friends. The bar is great and the food is very good. It is also a great place to watch the game. It can get a little noisy at times but overall a nice place to go and hang out
(5)Sean D.
Very good selection of bar food at a fair price. It is a huge sports themed establishment with a large selection of beer and alcohol. It is family friendly as well!
(4)Adam K.
Best restaraunt I have been to. Amazing food with ALOT! of it and great prices. Their food is worth every penny. Great environment with peace and great workers. Almost no wait on a Friday night at 10pm. They dont do birthdays there but when my girlfriend asked at first they said no but when she walked by again they said they could and went out their ways to get a candle. Im happy to say that is the best place i ever had my birthday celebration. Thank you so much to the Miller Ale House Crew.
(5)Jess S.
The food is always good! The pitcher specials are good. There's a decent beer list if you're going with a picky craft beers kinda crowd. The wait is always long on weekends but never a wait during the week. The prices are fair too!
(4)Kelsey C.
Went here at the Willow Grove location last night for take-out. I had to call twice because the first time I was put on indefinite hold. Ordered a Caesar Salad, a Zinger Salad and some soup. Neither came with dressing and the Caesar Salad was just a regular garden salad. The contents in the take-out bag were dirty looking and the bag itself had some mayonnaise or ranch dressing on the outside of it. Won't be revisiting for dining in or taking out again.
(2)Kevin S.
I went last week to get some food and beer. Usually I look forward to coming here because it is convenient. It is never a five star experience, but it is usually tolerable. However, my last visit was awful. I ordered beer and water and so did the person I came with. She brought us the beer, but it wasn't filled to the top, so it felt like I got cheated and we had to go to the bar to get our water, because she didn't bring it. Our waitress came once and didn't return until we finished our meal. The service was just awful. I don't know who they hire here, but they don't care at all. Food is fine. If you go I recommend the zingers, because they are great.
(2)Chris M.
I was really on the fence about whether to go with one star or two, but I'm going to go with 2 because I have been here twice--once for a 3* experience and once for a 1*--so I will average. We had a really unfortunate experience here the other night. We got in around 11pm or so were hoping to get a quick bite at the bar. They have a good beer selection, and we got our first round quickly. It was mostly downhill from there. The meal was a series of missteps and lengthy delays that kept us there until about 1am (perhaps a little later). My salad came out barely dressed after a long wait, they dropped it off with no utensils, and it took me 15 min to flag someone down to bring me one. After a long wait, we could see the expediter in the exposed kitchen area take our dishes out of the window and put them down on a counter. She walked away, and when she came back, she was wiping her hands with a rag, through it onto the counter, and it landed squarely onto my friend's plate of food. Then the unthinkable happened. She brought our food over and tried to give it to him, AFTER we said we saw the rag land in the plate. She nonchalantly said, "It's OK it was a clean rag." (!!!!) And then tried to put the plate down in front of him. We said no, and to send out a fresh one. The bartender, mortified, ran over and apologized and comped the burger and a drink. But the wait was on for them to make yet another burger. So did the bartender handle the situation as best as she could given the circumstances? Yes. Was the food server's attitude pretty unforgivable? Yes. This paired with the fact that all of our food was pretty bad (except the wings) will sum to me not coming back here again. Pity.

Love the atmosphere at this location. A lot of space and very clean. There is always a drink special going on and friendly upbeat staff
(5)Emily K.
We spoke to the manager about the poor service that we were receiving after speaking with the manager he told us that he would take care of us when the bill came nothing was taken care of and the manager was not found very poor service will not be back anytime soon or ever
(1)L K.
I really have enjoyed Millers in the past (love those Zingers!) but last night my friends and I had an awful experience. We waited over 2 hours for a table, literally no seats at the bar even available to us, and finally our number came up and the table next available was given away to people who had just walked in! After we complained and were finally seated our waitress was rude and we couldn't order food because she dropped the bill off maybe 10 minutes after delivering our first round of drinks. We were there for the UFC fight and as soon as it was over we left immediately, I've never felt so unwelcome anywhere. Very very disappointed, especially since I've had good experiences in the past. Millers step it up!
(1)Tara M.
I've been here a few times. Usually just for drinks at the bar, but this time we decided to have dinner. The night began with the waitress making a rude comment about my age when she checked my ID. I'm 23, and she made me feel awkward about my age saying how I was 21. Last time I checked 2013-1990= 23. If you're going to check my ID, check and don't put your foot in your mouth. So we knew from there it was going to be a rough ride (which it was). We ordered the Mountain Zingers with honey BBQ sauce as our app, which are really good. After she took forever to actually out the order in, they finally came out... As the wrong thing. We received regular zingers. No sauce, barely any cheese, and a ton of sour cream. They were pretty nasty looking. We called her over and she comments "Oh I heard you say the regular Zingers". There was no need for a comment, she should have just apologized and took them away. So she put an "express order" on the Zingers we actually wanted. 15 minutes later when they didn't come out, she had said "Do you just want to not get them? I don't know what's taking so long." Well, maybe if you had listened and put the correct order in, we would have had them by now. Finally the app we wanted came out. They were still not right (mild, not honey BBQ), but we didn't care and are them anyway. We had placed our dinner orders awhile before this, then at this point she comes out to tell me that the kitchen ran out of the Seafood Mac and Cheese I ordered. I ordered the Pork Medallions instead. She then opens up her mouth and says "I guess it's not a good night at Miller's for you guys, huh?" REALLY? No we aren't having a good time, do you really need to rub it in? So not only was our food a disaster, this waitress sure didn't make it any better. Finally all of our food came out. I got the wrong sides for what I ordered, but I couldn't even care at this point. She had refilled people's drinks with the wrong drinks, she didn't even bother asking them what they had. She was probably the worst waitress I've ever had going to a restaurant, and her comments sure didn't make anything better. I won't be coming back here for dinner. Even for drinks, I'm probably going to avoid this place for a very long time.

Piccata requires capers. Do not get the mahi piccata. Everything else is good. Nice place, atmosphere, just resistance on the feedback so 2 stars. Good beer, every sport on TV, great margherita says my aunt. Was taken off the check, if I lived closer, I would come back. 2 stars for the red shirt manager.
(2)A T.
Visited here twice during a quick business trip to the area. One time for food, one time for a night cap. Service: A++ Friendly for the most part and super helpful. The ++ is for the bartenders. All of them were awesome and made great recommendations. They seem to be having a genuinely good time with the customers. Food: B Decent for bar food. Don't come here expecting the best meal of your life. If your expectations are proper you will enjoy. Atmosphere: A Fun, friendly, festive. Other: A Drink menu, particularly the draft been menu, was excellent. Great variety of east coast beers, standards, and a couple west coast. One critique - they need an updated tap list in print. It's too hard to read all the tap handles and it's too much for the bartenders to have to tell you the list. A simple, typed up list each day would sell more beer and help customers see what they have.

Met friends here on a Saturday night. Great beer list with dozens of taps, including many West Coast beers rare to this area (though no Deschutes...yet; several from Portland, though, including a Widmers). Prices for those drafts were higher than expected: some over $8. All tasted great, though, a sign they clean their tap lines. Of the food, I can only say the wings could have used a few more minutes in the oven, but the loaded fries were great. Our waitress was wonderful, stopping to chat with us frequently. We ate at a high table in the restaurant area, which felt more like a family restaurant. TVs were on every wall, showing games. There's another room which has more of a bar feel to it. Also an outside area with fire pits. One downer: friends who arrived later than us had to pay a $10 cover because the bar was showing some boxing match none of us were watching. But all told, a nice place to spend an evening with friends.

This place isn't for me. It's an Applebee's, on steroids. Well, no. That's a bad opening statement. I'd go here, to watch a game. There are many tv's, many beers, and they are reasonably priced. I'll consume a lot of alcohol, and probably order food. I actually liked the French onion soup. Yep, soup. Everyone likes soup when they're drinking. No they don't, I'm just "special". Ok, here's the thing that made me mad. They offer "homemade chips" on their menu. I love homemade potato chips. It's a guilty pleasure. The ones I got here seemed like they dumped a bag of kettle chips in the fryer, for 30 seconds. Crap. I just went on their website, didn't see them on the menu. I checked because I couldn't remember what kind of dip they offered. The parking lot is huge. It always seems to be packed. Go in, you'll get a table in 20-30 minutes on a busy night. I'm convinced that they buy dead cars, and tow them into the parking lot.

They really do it right here! We took the whole family out for a bite and everyone was happy. The server was great in getting our kids meals going while we had a few drinks. Food was just as ordered, service was great, and the price was right. We'll keep coming back - you know a good deal when you see it.

We ate here tonight with our one year old son, well we TRIED to eat here. The food for my husband and myself arrived in a fairly reasonable amount of time however, it was more than 10 minutes later before the chicken fingers I ordered for my son arrived and they were entirely too hot to serve to our child any time soon. We attempted to get the attention of the manager, who was making his rounds and skipped our table, to no avail. There were no apologies offered by our less than friendly waitress. We ended up going to Sonic to get our child dinner and eating our cold, soggy (and may I mention subpar) dinner at home. I understand that we are probably not the target demographic, yet this was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this restaurant.

42 beers on tap, cheap prices and so many drink specials they had to put them in a binder. This place is a great addition to Willow Grove. Miller's Ale House is located across from the Home Depot just off 611 and the PA Turnpike. The restaurant is very large and has two huge bars. Although they have 42 beers on tap most are macro brews but they managed to have a few winners. Since there weren't any reviews for this new location I had go in blind with my food order. I tried the full rack of ribs with a baked potato. I split an order of wings with one of my friends and he tried the Dolphin filet that came in a foil pack. The ribs were so flavorful and totally fell off the bone. No utensils were needed. The wings were breaded, very large and cooked correctly. I give the wings a solid B. The fish was well prepared with vegetables but lacked any major flavors. I would not recommend that dish. Although the bar was big I think that having 4-5 bartenders was a bit much. It took a good 5-10 mins to get my first beer and after I finished it I waited another 5mins before anyone noticed. I attribute this to the restaurant just opening and I'm sure the service will improve. They were packed and had about a 30min wait. (Thursday Night) They have TV's all over the place and you should have no problem watching a sporting event. When they're busy expect it to be noisy but not too overbearing. I will come back to the Ale House again. I said the prices were cheap and here are a few examples: 20oz Porterhouse Steak $18.95 Full Rack of Rubs $15.99 *Monday night special $10.99 **UPDATE** 7/24/12 I had to go back because I really enjoyed this spot so much. I was with (3) friends and we tried the following: Chicken Nacho's - Average Porterhouse - Thin, Fatty and below average at best. It came with (2) huge pieces or broccoli that weren't cooked. Cajun Chicken Pasta - Chicken was well seasoned and the Alfredo sauce was tasty. Fish & Chips - Huge portion and the fish was light and fluffy. Fish Taco's - They were good but not worth ordering again. The fish was well cooked but I thought they could have put a larger portion of in them. Beers - They have so many specials and choices you just can't go wrong. I wasn't as impressed with the food this time but there is not doubt in my mind that I'll be back within a week or two. *Our waitress was nice but was clueless about the food. Train your employee's people you just opened! The food overall is average bar food. Great spot for drinks and a quick bite.

Good food. Great drinks and its cheap. Love this place. Its my 2nd home. Lol
(5)Anthony K.
It's what a suburban sports bar should be its big wide open with a lot of Tvs and a good atmosphere. The food is good and well priced and has one of the best selections of beers. It also has a nice outdoor area with fire pits.
(4)John B.
tough, bland steak and mushy broccoli on a plastic plate. Need I say more? Oh yeah, the beer stunk too. Robert Irvine, where are you?
(1)David G.
Food OK, service poor, high prices for craft beer - $6.95 and up for a small pint, I think only 14oz, and never all the way full. Bud and Yuengling are cheap, but a major rip off for the better beers.

I'm torn on writing this review. On Tuesday evening I stopped in for dinner and was blown away. Great food. Friendly service. And the place was packed (usually a good sign). I returned tonight to try a dish I didn't have room for the night before. 12 or more employees sitting around with nothing to do... and by nothing that includes helping customers. I was treated like an inconvenience. I got run into or pushed aside by no fewer than three friends of employees (so they could chat with their friends who were supposed to be working). No need for rudeness, but it's all I got. I walked out after waiting 5 mins to place a takeout order at the bar... ignored by both bartenders and the 4 servers chatting at the end. And the host staff seemed content to let me leave empty handed. My scowl and head shake met with a half-hearted "good night". That's fine. Gave me a chance to try a burger at a nearby competitor. Thanks for the assist. I had a great meal, and wouldn't have found it without the bad service here.
(3)M L.
Miller's is just barely ok. It serves its demo: huge portions of mediocre quality to the suburban masses who love chains. Service is bare minimum. I've been there several times because my family lives in the area, and it never gets better. I do admit that at my last visit I had mahi tacos, and they and the rice and beans were pretty good.
(2)George A.
2.5 stars, not 3. Another sub-par sports bar in the area with mediocre food, beer but a louder than usual environment. Guess it's ok, if you are looking for a happy hour spot but for casual dining with the family, I would go elsewhere.
(3)George N.
I really enjoyed Miller's. My group of friends and I enjoyed the whole experience. Great selection of beers. Staff was friendly but a little overwhelmed. The outside area fitted with two fire pits was cool. I would definitely recommend Millers.
(4)Donna M.
Ate here last Friday night about 6:30. Thought we would be in for a long wait because the parking lot was crowded but we only had a 15 minute wait for a table. Extensive menu and a really nice selection of beers and mixed drinks. My 5 year old son is as picky as they come but he really enjoyed his kids cheeseburger. I went for the adult cheeseburger and it was very good. My husband ordered shrimp fettucini, ate until he was stuffed and still had plenty to take home with him. There are TVs everywhere and they have a couple of different options showing at any given time. I was able to see the Phillies game as well as any Breaking News about the manhunt in Boston. Nice. Best of all was our server, Edward. He promptly came to take our order, made suggestions and was extremely attentive without hovering. I would've given Miller's 5 stars except we did wait quite a while for our food to come out but I guess that's what you get on Friday at dinnertime. We'll be back!
(4)John M.
I went here for the eagles game tonight. the service was horrible, very under staffed. when we finally sat down the artichoke dip was terrible and the chicken I ordered was undercooked.
(1)Richard P.
The place is packed. The food is good. There is a prime rib special for $12.95 on Thursdays. The waiter we had was okay. The place is really big. A good place to watch sports.
(4)Mary A.
We checked this place out one evening for dinner...made the mistake of sitting in the huge bar area, the music was so loud, we were screaming at each other. Let me say though, the wings are unbelievable!! We shared an order as an appetizer and they were the best I have had since I have lived in PA. Meaty, juicy and the wing sauce reminded me of days back home in Buffalo. Will definitely be back another night, sit in the less noisy section and enjoy those wings!
(4)Jessica C.
I love this place. My girlfriends and I go here at least once a month. Definitely glad to see something new in a nightlife-less town. We will usually just head out to the "patio" bar and try to find a seat at the bar. No matter what day of the week it's always busy. The food is always delicious (and cheap!) and we absolutely adore our fave bartender, Lauren. She always goes out of her way to accommodate us, and is super friendly. LOVE her! If you go there on a weekend night, definitely don't expect a lot of breathing room or short wait times, but if you expect that of a popular place on the weekends, shame on you. If you haven't checked it out, get there!
(5)Daniel A.
Went here as a small group of 5. We waited about 30 minutes for anyone to approach is at the door. There were plenty of tables available. A waitress apparently realized how long we had been waiting and found the missing hostess. We were seated at a booth. After waiting 45 minutes for anyone to approach our table and take orders, we left. I have no idea how the food is here since I never got a chance to order anything.

Had dinner here this weekend. The place was packed and we were told the wait would be an hour but we were given a table in about 25 minutes. They have a lot of taps, but most of them are big name domestic or import beers (Bud, Guiness, Carlsberg, etc). Still, they had several good craft beers on tap, including Stone's Cali-Belgique. The menu all looks pretty heavy. I wasn't starving and was looking for something on the lighter side, like a wrap, but none were to be found. I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Fine, but nothing to write home about. My friend had the Bistro Burger and was pretty happy with it. If you're looking for somewhere to watch a game, you're in luck. There are about a thousand TVs mounted on every wall and angle.

As a bar... I might go a 3 or 4... But went for food with friends. Food was sub par. ( and the cool whip dipping sauce with my sweet pot fries was a sad joke ) Beer yes / food no

Great, wonderful, awesome!! This is a great new eatery for Willow Grove area. This is a sports bar and handy meeting spot. I like it better than the NE Philly location. The waitstaff and management were extra attentive and the food was fabulous and filling and reasonably priced. Great for the whole family, lots of nice big screen tvs and a nice patio area. I'll be making this my hangout spot for sure.
(5)John K.
We stopped here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was OK, food was really good and not very expensive. We both got MILLER'S SEAFOOD, LOBSTER & CLAM BAKE Snow Crab, Cold Water Lobster Tail, Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, Redskin Potatoes & Corn on the Cob, Cooked in Crab Boil & Old Bay. Served with a Taste of our Clam Chowder. $18.99 Everything tasted great and they have a large beer selection I indulged in a Long Hammer IPA, Heidi opted for their sangria. All in all a very nice experience and we will return, Lots of TVs didn't miss any of the Olympics while dining.
(4)Alison S.
I gotta tell you, I walked in there and though "oh good God, what the hell did I get myself into". It was LOUD AS HELL! After about 40 minutes (which I expected) we were seated. Michele was our server-she was AWESOME. She was fun and friendly and was just a pleasure to be around. We oerdered zingers with Mt. Saint Helen's sauce. Um, no heat...NONE- so the kitchen manager went in the kitchen and MADE US SAUCE! Holy smokes!! Really?! Then he sat with us for a few mintes talking about cooking and how he got the job. I felt like I was with friends. I got seafood pasta which was really good. My hubby got a burger. I have NEVER heard anyone rave over a stupid cheese burger like he did. It was great. We got some crazy good desert with butterfingers in it--WOW!!! I totally recommend going, but make sure you're prepared for the noise...oh and ask for Michele!!!
(4)Colleen M.
Still mediocre food, but the prices are good. We went there for the lobster special they have on Wednesday. It was only 6:30, but they were already out of the lobster. So, they gave me the twin lobster tails for $15.99. They were ok, but a little dried out. The baked potato was well cooked as usual. The mixed veggies were raw. My husband had mahi mahi cooked in veggies, and his meal wasn't really warm, and the fish wasn't cooked all the way. So again, just ok meal.
(3)John D.
Good food, good brew, great for watching sports events, hot girls. I love this place! Highly Recommend
(4)Kim D.
This was the worst food and service my family has experienced in quite some time. First, they forgot to seat us. Took forever to take drink order. When the food finally arrived they handed me my dish and a few seconds later came back and took it away saying they gave me the wrong order. Wow! My husband ordered some sort of fish sandwich. It was cold and for some reason very shiny. Asked for tarter sauce and more napkins. Still waiting for those. Will never go back. There are just too many other places to choose from.

I recently spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott. Luckily for me, the hotel and Miller's Ale House share a parking lot. In about 48 hours, I made three trips here. To start, the place is absolutely huge. They have a ton of tables to dine at and there are two huge circular bars. One is in a separate area but there's plenty of space. I'm also pretty sure that they have about 30-40 beers on tap with a varied selection. Anytime you're breaking 20+ beers on tap, you've found a cool spot. The first time we stopped in was for Happy Hour on Thursday - great beer and drink specials. It's also worth noting that the place was pretty mobbed for Happy Hour. The only knock I had was that the service was pretty bad on this visit. It took about 5-10 minutes for a bartender to even acknowledge us but it was mainly because no one was working the bar. I actually had to ask a group of people next to us if there were bartenders working. Yes, I know, I'm an impatient NJ guy. The second trip was on Thursday night. A buddy and I stopped in to have a couple of beers and we put an order of their "Zingers" in. Zingers are basically boneless buffalo chicken tenders but they were very good. Nice and spicy with plenty of sauce on them. It was another solid trip. Service was decent on this trip. I was a little surprised to see it wasn't that packed on a Thursday night. Our last visit was on Friday for lunch. My buddy and I came back here around 11:30 am to grab a quick lunch. When we entered, it was pretty empty but they were filled up pretty good by the time we left. We put in an order of zingers to start. They were good once again. Don't hesitate to order them. For my meal, I had a buffalo chicken sandwich. Yes, I'm a buffalo wing/sauce fan. The sandwich was near excellent and it was one of the biggest chicken breasts I'd ever seen. It also came with some pretty good french fries. Prices were incredibly reasonable. The only knock I had on this visit was the service - unfortunately, again. We were in there early, they weren't that packed but it took an incredibly long time to be served our food. I do think it's a good place, and if I didn't have to wait as a long as I did, I'd probably have given this place a 4-star rating. It's a very solid spot for anyone staying at the Courtyard by Marriott for a meal or a drink.
(3)P L.
My sister ordered a burger well done that was very pink throughout. They WILL NOT take anything off the bill, no matter what. They will give you a free dessert, or another meal. Not a good policy! Management - not so hot! Waitress - very good. I had the jambalaya which was mediocre, bland and had generic sausage, chicken and shrimp. My wife has the NY strip which she said was excellent. Cake was huge. Too noisy, too crowded.
(2)Colleen M.
This seems like a good place to grab a pitcher of beer and some nachos with friends. I would not go here planning to eat a meal. I tried this place out for lunch recently and the food left a bit to be desired. The fried food was standard- no issues there. However, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich as my meal and it was not good. The chicken was tough, stringy and over-cooked. My mom got the same thing and neither of us could bring ourselves to eat much of it. The onion rings were good. Service was alright.
(2)Stella H.
I am rating this two stars as a dining destination, but I would give it three stars for the bar atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to hang out and catch the game on TV with your friends, this is the place to go. Great for drinks and bar food, but lacking in a dining destination. Large, cavernous place, where you can barely hear the TVs or each other. A group of us went for dinner, and for the most part, it was nothing special. Not bad, but not a place worth seeking out if you are looking for a quiet, quality dining experience. I will say the salads were probably the best thing on the menu, tasty, fresh and filling. The rest of the menu is your atypical bar selection (fried, salty, greasy, etc.)
(2)Laura S.
Restaurant was very busy -- it took a while to get our food, and then hard to get our waitress' attention when we needed condiments, additional drinks, missing fries, check. We have been her 4x - twice with family (parents and kids) and twice to sit at the bar. We enjoyed ourselves at the bar, quick, friendly service, good atmosphere. At the table, however, service was slow both times, and speakers next to the table were way way way too loud -- first time it was music, 2nd time it was commercials from the football game -- couldn't even carry on a conversation and it made dinner feel rushed and hectic vs. enjoyable and relaxing.
(3)Elliot S.
Fun place, many beers to choose from and spacious with a patio. Service was slow and food not very good but was there with good friends and that helped. Price was pretty good too! you get what you pay for! Had the shrimp and scallop mac and cheese with mushrooms, sounded better then it tasted!
(2)Mike Z.
I definitely love the atmosphere at this place. Tons of TV's for the game, lots of people, making for a fun time. Decent beer selection, food I've had is just ok. Prime rib sandwich and fish n chips were good, nothing special. Heck, I guess they did the job when all I really want when going here is some good beer and a view of the game on a big screen with some friends. Nice staff which is always satisfying to find at an always crowded joint dealing with lots of patrons with no end in sight on the weekends. Like beer and sports? Yeah, Millers I can stand.
(3)Meghan B.
Had dinner here with 3 other people. There are 2 bars, lots of tables, and lots of tv's. One very cool feature was that each table gets to pick a tv as "theirs" for the night and can put whatever they want on it. My chicken nachos were enormous just as the menu says! The nachos came out with sour cream when I requested without, and the server gave me a free dessert! I wasn't very impressed with the Jamaican Jerk Zingers- but that could have just been the sauce (there are many other flavors). Some other menu items we tried were: steamed clams, snow crab, ribs, tomato basil soup - no complaints about any of the food. The best part was absolutely the dessert (all are big enough to share)! I had the Captain Jack's Milkshake, and it was phenomenal! We also tried the Captain Jack's Nutty Brother which is an ice cream cake, and they said it was delicious. Can't wait to go back again!
(5)Mikey B.
Meet with friends on a Sat night. Place was packed waited for seating , waitress was friendly but wait the wait for beverages was too long , the food was good to very good nice portions , steak fajitas excellent . This was my 1st time back in this area in over 15 years , there were no bars even close to this nice back then. Would like to give it a try when its not jam packed.
(4)John C.
I was interested in checking a Miller's out since they are building one a couple blocks down from where I live. It's almost a Jekyll and Hyde story here. The main restaurant part seems upscale and tame. A 20 foot walk to the other side of the building reveals a wild, massive bar with tables all around and people drinking their faces off. Seemed like a very fun place to catch a game. Wasn't impressed at all by the "famous" zingers. Was very impressed with the beer selection and amount of daily specials that they offer.
(3)Deborah L.
My husband and I had a late lunch on June 4, 2013. I had the 35 shrimp scampi, and hubby had a British burger (basically a bacon cheeseburger). The scampi did have a LOT of shrimp and was seasoned well. They also didn't skimp on the bacon on the burger. We very much enjoyed both dishes. We also splurged and decided to share a dessert, and chose the chocolate cake pounder. It was delicious. Definitely enough for two, but you'll want to eat it all yourself. Very casual and relaxed environment, reasonably priced, tasty food.
(4)Raph D.
Teeerrrrrrrrrible. If you like super below average chain food this place is for you! The menu has nothing to offer, very average sounding sandwiches, wings that failed to impress and desserts that your 12 year old could make with about a weeks worth of practice. On top of that, a place described as an "ale house" should have a better selection of beer than all things bud, miller and pbr. The people behind the bar were unattentive and only focused on the dumb looking single guys who loooked gullible. Management could be seen dancing/talking but not table visiting. Cant see another reason to go here again. Stay away!
(1)Andy D.
Went there for dinner on Sunday with my lady. I had the NY Strip, she had a flat Iron steak plus Boom Boom shrimp, both were cooked perfectly and excellent service also. We will be back!
(4)Matt S.
These guys were incredible to work with. We held our class Reunion here, with 125 attendees on one of their busiest nights of the year, and it went off without a hitch. The food was great, service was excellent, and the GM Phil was so attentive and accommodating that it exceeded every expectation. We have zero reservations recommending Miller's for large party or dinner for two. Great job guys, pleasure doing business!
(5)Summer G.
Bad service. Almost walked out. When we got service, she didn't know what was on tap on special and couldn't be bothered to find out.
(1)Anthony S.
Pros: late night menu, open til 2am, affordable beer and selection Cons: the food isnt that good but okay finger appetizers. They recommendated chicken nachos and the chicken was literally hard as a rubber with barely any cheese. Tasted awful waste of money.
(3)Chris D.
I'm gonna go as neutral as I can on this since it just opened and since all I did was grab a drink here with a friend after the movies and have yet to sample anything from their menu. Basically this place is a chain version of what they think an Ale House should be. I mean I have never known any true ale houses to offer frozen drinks and offer like a ten page menu. I'm not saying its bad for what it is, and their prices are pretty affordable with a decent sized draft list. It's good for the area because there isn't much like it around there, with exception to the Iron Abbey which I love, but which is also small. Service wasn't too bad, some of the bartenders are a little green and hopefully that improves with time. They also had security everywhere too, which was puzzling. I mean I guess I get it because it's a really big place, but like were they expecting people to get all rowdy and get into fights? I dunno, still on the fence about it but will probably give it another go and grab a bite to eat next time.

My first trip to this place. We had a sweet waitress who forgot just one thing. She was not easy to find to let her know what we were waiting for, but otherwise she was good. Everyone was happy with the food, for the most part. The bread in the onion soup was slightly burned. The peppers in the chicken fajita were too greasy...way too much oil. When I took out my son's "doggy bag" the next day at home, he said he didn't want any more of it...because of the chicken. I looked, and there were huge fatty pieces attached to the chicken. A waste of money, to be buying crap that cannot be eaten. Wish I had known that when we were at the restaurant. I would try it again, though! The positives did outweigh the negatives.
(3)Dean M.
Believe me... I don't want to sound mean-spirited... but this places has NOTHING going for it. I read another review of this place before I began this one. The reviewer also found the place Terrible... and he said, "We go out to eat frequently, so when I say worst service ever...seriously it was that bad." I too dine out almost every night. I watched this place being built. Watched it open. Watched people flock to it. Its a sad reflection of my fellow patrons. Here's the short of it: The Hostess was totally disinterested, never smiled and ignored my wife's greeting to her. The server had a caustic attitude and really didn't care about our experience. The clam chowder was hot. That's ALL I can say for it. Didn't see a clam. Didn't taste a clam. Did taste a lot of flour. Did taste a lot of potatoes. The barbecue ribs entree was THE most uninspired, tasteless barbecue I've ever eaten. The french fries were soggy. Everything said cheap ingredients. The George Killian's Irish Red lager was delicious. The decor is minimalist lumberjack meets a thousand TV's. The booth was uncomfortable in-the-extreme. I wanted to like this place. I mean... who goes into a restaurant... spends hard-earned money... and wants to dislike the experience and food? If this corporate chain is succeeding (and I have no idea if it is or isn't)... it's further proof of the devolution of America. Sorry... but I calls it like I sees it.

Becky gave or group great service. She was fun, joked around and was fast on delivery. The hosts and other staff were sure to give us detailed information upon arrival and seating. While I'm here traveling I'll cone back.
(5)Stax N.
miller lites used to be 1.95 when they first opened and that had me goin all the time ..thier still only 2.50 and its booty central on fri and sat nights if your under 30...easy 4 stars
(4)Matty H.
Went here with my Girlfriend and my sister a few weeks ago. Great atmosphere for your everyday Sports Fan with what looks like about 200 HD TV's all over the entire restaurant and bar. The food was just above average. I had a Cheeseburger and fries and it was decent. However if you have a sweet tooth and have a major craving for a dessert that will leave you satisfied then I would suggest getting Capt'n Jack's Buried Treasure and the Apple Crisp! You won't leave hungry that's for sure. Better spot to grab a drink than eat food in my opinion.
(4)Alison C.
Great new place to hang out in Willow Grove!! Been here twice since it opened. Great staff and food is awesome
(5)Matthew R.
Stay away! I travel quite a bit for work and usually stop in places near my hotel for dinner. This was one of the worst places I've ever gone to. It was loud and the service was horrific. I sat at the bar. I was never asked if I wanted food and it took 30 minutes to place my order. At one point in time, my pint glass sat empty for 10 minutes without being asked if I wanted another. One of my glasses had a big chip in it that almost cut my lip. When my food came, they did not give me silverware or napkins. I had to ask for them. The food was decent, but I cannot stress how much you should avoid this spot. DO yourself a favor and go to the brick house next door. Whoever the manager is of this place should be ashamed.
(1)Crazy C.
awesome layout.. great beer selection and great service.. LOTS of tv's !!!!
(4)H F.
Meh. The food is ok. I've had the burger twice; once it was great, the next time dry, dry, dry. Seems to be hit or miss with the food. The service can be a little slow when the place is busy. But at least the beers are cheap!
(3)Ellen A.
Decided to try this new local restaurant and I doubt we'll return. Lots of wait staff, tables and televisions - service was good, drinks were good but the food was simply only mediocre. Cheap cafeteria food with little taste: jambalaya had dried out chicken and some kind of sausage (not andouille) ... basically rice with chicken, sausage and veggies. Snow crab was overcooked and came with standard fries and commercial cole slaw.
(2)K E.
We went there as a small group for happy hour Friday evening. Upon walking in we figured we'd grab a beer at the first bar before looking for our friends. We stood at the bar for maybe 20 secs before a server asked if we wanted to sit at their dry bar and order drinks from her, we declined. We proceed to the bar in the back. The first spot we stood at didn't get any attention from the bartenders (there were probably 5-6 on duty). We moved to where the servers pick up their drinks, since that spot was open. We were ignored by all of the bartenders for probably a good 5 mins. Many even looked at us directly in the eye. Finally one was walking to up to us, only to get picked off by some other customer looking for drinks (he wasn't waiting like we were). Another bartender (a chick) came up and asked what we needed. We asked if Hoegaarden was on tap and she had no clue so we waited as she looked over all of the taps. We decided on a blue moon and a miller lite (came to approx. $7.50). His blue moon was very cold, my miller lite was served up in a warm pint glass and even the beer was room temp!! He offered to return it, but I'd figured I'd suck it up since the last wait was long. We join our table of friends, here we find their pitchers of miller lite were also room temp. Their waitress pretty much shrugged her shoulders and pointed to the plastic bucket they supply w. ice when they complained. I believe someone hooked up a room temp. keg and they didn't admit it. Later we got a pitcher and that was cold, so someone fixed it. Our table also ordered some boneless wings, the server drops off chicken wings. They were sent back and the correct order was delivered. At least three other times different servers kept coming to the table w/ either boneless wings or regular wings. We kept telling them they weren't for us. Rarely they cleared the tables of trash or napkins. Once in a while they would come for the glasses but that's it. We will not be going back. The service is bad. The place is way too loud, and you can't hear the person sitting right next to you. I was outside and I heard a couple saying they wouldn't be coming back as well. We apparently weren't the only ones disappointed.

Surprisng how large this place is! It was a great place for our group to chill after a sales meeting. We occupied a large long table at the bar....orderded drinks...nachos...more drinks...more appetizers and more drinks. It all worked out well...oh and more drinks! The potato chip nachos were interesting and quite good! The chicken nachos were huge and great for the group! Fried calamari was most likely from a frozen box or bag. I won't be getting those again. Ribs were okay...fell off the bone but the sauce had a wierd taste...could not figure out the destinctive spice. Not sure I would get those again either. I wanted some kind of healthier appetizer like veggies (Boring I know) but that was not really an option, however, the waiter tried to make some suggestions with the grilled veggies (a side dish)...oh well...I appreciate his effort. He was quite a good waiter too. The food going out to the other tables looked like a lot of fried foods. Not sure I would go out of my way to have an actual dinner here but it is a great place for a football game, "man appetizers" & beer!

Just got back from there tonight, was seated quickly, but waited 15 minutes for a server and no one arrived. This place is a joke and they don't come close to their other locations. I spoke to Dennis, the manager on duty and he told me that he was going to make the server responsible for their actions, but still let me head out the door unsatisfied and hungry.

Miller's Ale House is great for cheap pitcher's of beer, but that's about it. The food is inconsistent. The first time we ate the I got the clam bake and it was delicious aside from the inedible corn on the cob. The second time we went our service was horrible. First we ordered an appetizer of shrimp and our waitress walked away before we even got to choose our sauce. We needed to add our own hot sauce because the mild they picked for us barely had any flavor. Midway through our app we found a chicken finger stuffed into the pile. Maybe that wouldn't bother some but I do not eat chicken (or any meat aside from seafood). For dinner I ordered the Sat. special which was some type of seafood combo. The menu said "choice of a side" but again the waitress walked away. She didn't come back again until the food was delivered. When I mentioned that I forgot to tell her what side I wanted (really she didn't ask) she responded with "that's a typo" so I said never mind. Then she kept saying they'd honor it even though I wasn't pressing the subject. I kept declining and she just kept saying they would honor it. I'm not really sure why she bothered telling me it was a typo then. I got mashed potatoes which were a horrible slop of instant mush with a brown rim of gravy on the plate (i ordered without because it is usually beef stock). My seafood special was awful. I was given two scallops (they were tasty), 2 clams (one was nearly closed and I had to spit it out because it had turned), and 8 little shrimp with heaping piles of bread crumbs on them. Two of the shrimp were still completely blue/gray. I think the only way I will go back there is to get a $5 pitcher of Miller light. Even the Magic Hat #9 on tap tasted off (almost watered down). Be sure to pay as you go at the bar or you may randomly end up with zingers that you never ordered on your bill.

First visit this past Saturday with wife and kids (6 of us). We were greeted at the door by 3 thug- like employees who informed us that there was a $10 per person cover charge. I explained that we were only there for dinner. The head goon stated that it didn't matter it was $60 cover charge. Needless to say we left and NEVER will return.

This is a great place!! The food tastes great, and they have very good prices. It has the cheapest beer around, especially for a Friday or Saturday night. You can see a TV from anywhere you sit! Great service with very friendly and personable staff. I highly recommend this place!

I went here with a few friends for the first time for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon, and it will likely be my last. I knew this place was nearby to where I was, and I noticed the parking lot was always busy, so i figured I would try it. First off, this place is HUGE. Huge bar, huge outdoor area, huge booths, so it is suitable for a large group of people. There's nothing really unique about the decor or the menu, besides the copious amounts of TV's. Despite it being relatively quiet in the restaurant, it took a very long time for the food to come out. The staff also seemed not to be the most attentive. Now, I would have given this place more stars, except the Friday Fish & Chips lunch special made myself and two other friends that ordered it very ill..nausea, diarrhea..you get the picture. Old fish? Not cooked properly? Who knows? And while they have plenty of drinks on tap, the selection of craft/specialty beers was very limited. It was mostly your run-of the-mill Yuengling (and worse) type beers. The drink prices seemed to be okay for the average drinks, but overall, there are a zillion other places that offer better food and more unique drinks.
